    ‘Sadako e le mille gru di carta’ is LogoS’ fourth album, an Italian progressive rock band. The album was released on CD and digital stores the day 6th August 2020, seventyfive years after atomic bomb blast at Hiroshima.

    Sadako was a Japanese school girl who, legend has it, contracted leukemia as a result of the radiation from the atomic bomb blast at Hiroshima. She was critically ill, and began a project of folding a thousand paper cranes in hopes of being granted a single wish.
    The album received feedbacks and appreciation from many contexts, even those not strictly related to music. A copy of the album is kept and exhibited in CD format at the Hiroshima Peace Museum, a few meters from the statue dedicated to Sadako at the Children's Peace Monument. The video of the song 'Sadako e le mille gru di carta' received praise from many Peace museums present not only in Japan but all around the world.

SADAKO E LE MILLE GRU DI CARTA
Sadako che guarda
volando leggera
appesa alle mille gru di carta,
storie di guerra
natura nefasta
migliaia di anni
da prima di Sparta.
Scrivevano in tanti messaggi di pace,
ogni uno a suo modo, esprimendo il dolore,
col cuore imbevuto d’un succo di pece,
guardando impotenti la bimba che muore.
Sadako che dorme vicino a una bomba,
un simbolo bianco di fogli leggeri,
trasforma anche il tempo che porta alla tomba,
ma porta alla luce pensieri sinceri.
E’ un po’ più vicino l’oriente che guarda,
si interroga incredula piange e non parla,
fluttua infuriata cambiando colore,
dal bianco all’arancio fondendosi al sole.
Non solo la morte ha lo stesso rumore,
le guerre, la fame, la brama, il potere,
Sadako oggi ascolta scioccata dal cielo,
degli uomini d’oggi il brutale pensiero.
Quando è morto l’altruismo?
Quanto regnano prosperi
odio,
disgusto,
egoismo?
Stridendo si bagnano e cadono,
mille gru di carta,
una bambina leggera, ha trovato la tomba,
dormiva serena abbracciata a una bomba.
La nuova guerra è più nefasta,
nascosta dall’ombra di uno schermo piatto,
ammutolita dal brusio di un processore,
dietro al becero minimizzare,
abbaiar per screditare.
E’ una guerra lontana,
qui arriva solo qualche scintilla,
quante Sadako ancor oggi,
guardan negli occhi una bomba che brilla.
